Morning Data started our Passle journey in Q4 2016; when up and running we were divided into two teams for a little Gamification exercise. Team Dawn and Team Sunrise were pitched against each other with a weekly goal for a post and maximum reads, shares and likes... the normal social media and professional media channels. The extrapolation of the performance over the 6 weeks would mean Morning Data had a digital content rate of over 100 times the industry standard (which we were pleased about) and it also gave us a following of not just our own areas of interest but our team's expert viewpoints on relevant topics such as: Brexit, Blockchain, AI, our own Broker Portal launch, coding for girls, working from home, IPT changes, the TOM and telematics to name but a few.
The results were announced; the Most Valuable Player (one with the most to say) which was myself and the Most Valuable Team, Team Dawn, which comprised Claire Sturges and Paul Buckle. The stats combined with our Google Analytics provide insight into the interest our followers have, and the integrated newsletter is a simple channel to sum up activity and deliver it, collated for easy mobile device digestion whether waiting for a Southern Rail train, or browsing your network whilst watching the U12's football practice!
The prize was a bottle of fizz (aptly branded in Morning Data corporate colours) and a trophy for our cabinet. More seriously, the Passle support team have assisted in delivering an easy to use channel for expert opinion and digital content, whilst also supporting joining up the various aspects of our digital footprint, engaging the team in stepping outside the box and getting their valuable views and expertise into the market.
